TORONTO ― Pizza Nova is introducing pepperoni made without the use of antibiotics or hormones.
The improved, healthier pepperoni is made following Pizza Nova’s own recipe and with Canadian-raised beef and pork. “We selected pepperoni to be the first in this category, because it’s our most popular topping,” said Domenic Primucci, president of the Toronto-based chain. “We’re also looking at how we can introduce other products across our menu that are made without the use of antibiotics or hormones.”
Pizza Nova has also introduced a dairy-free cheese and a gluten-free crust.
