TORONTO — The Pizza Nova team has just announced the introduction of dairy-free, gluten-free and soy-free vegan cheese to its menu.
“Over 20 per cent of Canadians are lactose-intolerant,” said Domenic Primucci, EVP, Pizza Nova. “It is very important to us that we offer a product that everyone can enjoy.”
Vancouver-based Daiya Foods supplies the cheese substitute. The company won “Best New Vegan Product” two years in a row at VegWorld magazine’s Best in Show Awards.
