TORONTO — Pizza Pizza is adding beer to its list of beverages at locations across Canada this year. The initial launch was on June 7, with 20 locations in Hamilton, Ont. and Winnipeg, Man. Customers in these cities are able to purchase beer onsite, for takeout or for delivery with any food order.
Additionally, Pizza Pizza is offering a limited-edition large pizza box with six pop-out drink coasters in Hamilton and Winnipeg in celebration of its new launch.
“We know some of our customers enjoy beer with their pizza or wings; they’ve told us many times over the years. So, we thought, we should sell beer and make it available for delivery. Add in a limited-edition beer-coaster pizza box and it will be a great summer for our customers,” says Adrian Fuoco, vice-president of Marketing at Pizza Pizza.
Pizza Pizza is one of the first quick-service restaurants to introduce menu items that align with specific dietary restrictions, such as gluten-free crust, cauliflower crust, keto pizza recipes, dairy-free cheese and more. Pizza 73 will also be rolling out beer sales throughout Alberta this summer.
