TORONTO — Pizza Pizza has entered into partnership with True North Sports and Entertainment Limited, sponsoring the recently revamped Winnipeg Jets hockey team.
The Canadian pizza company will provide onsite concessions, serving pizza slices at the MTS Centre, home of the Jets.
“We’re big sports fans and excited to team up with the Winnipeg Jets as they look to make magic for fans and the community,” said Pat Finelli, chief marketing officer for Pizza Pizza. “This partnership is about doing good work together.”
Meanwhile, Pizza Pizza is celebrating its record breaking fundraising year. Founded in 2007 to help mark Pizza Pizza’s 40th anniversary, its Slices for Smiles Foundation has raised $695,000 for children’s charities in Canada since its inception.
