TORONTO — Pizza Pizza Ltd. recently wrapped up its 2015 fundraising efforts with a $400,000 donation to Children’s Miracle Network, benefiting eight of its member children’s hospitals across Canada.
The company’s Slices for Smiles Foundation, which helps charities provide fundamental building blocks of life to children and families, has raised $2 million to date. Funds are raised through proceeds from discounted menu items, in-store events, appeals for donations from consumers online, through the Pizza Pizza and Pizza 73 call centres and a private golf tournament last summer.
