TORONTO — Popeyes’ Blackened Chicken Sandwich has become a permanent menu item at restaurants across Canada and the U.S. The breading-free sandwich is the first permanent addition to the chicken sandwich family since its launch in 2020.
The Blackened Chicken Sandwich features an antibiotic-free, whole chicken breast, marinated for 12 hours and seasoned with a blend of Cajun spices, served atop a toasted brioche bun with house classic or spicy mayo and crunchy barrel-cured pickles.
