Owner Dimitri Neonakis, who opened the first Alexandra’s Pizza on Queen St. in Halifax almost 20 years ago, expanded his operations to five Nova Scotia-based chains, but this marks the first time that he’s taking his concept out of province. The new Moncton location is slotted for 827 Main St., and it is expected to open sometime this week.
“I think Moncton is a great city,” Neonakis was quoted as saying in a Times & Transcript story. “It’s growing fast, and I see a market for (Alexandra’s).”
The restaurant will only have 16 seats, but most of the business will be in takeout and delivery.
