Porter Airlines Unveils Premium Onboard Catering and Entertainment Partners

TORONTO — Porter Airlines is unveiling its premium in-flight service offering, with an emphasis on partnering with high-quality Canadian brands. Each partner was selected for its locality, quality ingredients, brand alignment and focus on sustainability. The new in-flight amenities, as well as the new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, come into service on Feb. 1.

Porter’s existing signature in-flight service – PorterClassic – features complimentary beer and wine, along with a selection of premium snacks, including Hardbite All Natural Kettle Cooked Chips; Good For You Desserts chocolate-chip-banana bread; naturSource Olio d’Oliva; Tamari Almonds; Three Farmers zesty cheddar roasted fava beans; and Cookie It Up milk chocolate shortbread.

On longer flights, premium menu items included with PorterReserve, and also available for purchase with PorterClassic, include a selection of Canadian cheese from the Cheese Boutique; sandwiches prepared on gourmet croissants from Nadège; and additional beverage options, such as organic wellness shots from Greenhouse and pre-mixed cocktails from Tumbler & Rocks. Other menu items, which vary by flight, include: chia smoothie bowl; ham-and-brie-croissant breakfast sandwich; seven-layer dip; Korean cauliflower; soba-noodle bowl; tropical-salmon poke; vegetarian Buddha bowl and seasonal fruits; and freshly-baked biscuits. Other packaged menu items include oatmeal, pasta, noodles, beef jerky and protein bars. Biodegradable cups and cutlery will be provided.

Additionally, passengers will have access to a free distinct digital passenger experience with partner Viasat Inc.’s high-speed, reliable Wi-Fi.
