MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Prime Pubs is kicking off the new year with the introduction of 17 contemporary dishes as well as the launch of Hop Mason, a new beer released in collaboration with Nova Scotia’s Alexander Keith’s.

“In today’s hectic world, guests are looking for the comfort foods and cosy atmosphere they expect from pubs but with more sophistication and premium quality than ever before. Pubs are undergoing a transformation across the country to meet these changing needs, and Prime Pubs is leading the charge,” said Grant Cobb, SVP, Brand Management for Prime Restaurants Inc.

“Our new menu continues to offer a number of our classic dishes as well as many new, delicious, contemporary dishes.”

New dishes include shrimp cake sliders, ale and cheddar dip, stuffed turkey pie, an avocado and bacon burger as well as a pulled-pork hoagie.

Meanwhile, Alexander Keith’s Hop Mason features notes of light citrus and grapefruit. “Alexander Keith’s Hop Mason is a small-batch microbrew that was created with a mindful understanding of the colour, taste and body our guests are looking for,” said Nathan Cameron, beverage manager, Prime Pubs. “With its great copper colour, depth of flavour, aromatics and clean, fresh, mouth finish, it is an approachable, quality brew we know our guests will love.”

Prime Pubs family of pubs includes 23 Irish restaurants operating across Ontario and Alberta under Fionn MacCool’s, D’sArcy McGee’s, Paddy Flaherty’s and Tir nan Óg.
