MONTREAL — Piecemeal is a free management-platform aimed at automating and simplifying the work of restaurant managers that includes modules that cover inventories, menu engineering, scheduling, purchases and food preparation.
The platform was designed and developed to help restaurant managers automate the most repetitive tasks and operations, to increase their efficiency, minimize their losses and, thus, improve their profit margins. Piecemeal uses cutting-edge technology to make using its modules quick and simple. For example, you can import invoices in real-time by using a picture or a PDF, which will update your menu costs and on-hand quantity automatically — saving restaurants about three to five hours a week to track inventory.
Launched in late 2019, the platform now serves close to 300 restaurants in many countries around the world, including the U.S., Canada, France and Hong Kong. The innovative business model is allowing Piecemeal to scale globally and to become a go-to resource for restaurant and foodservice operators.
To try it out, restaurant operators are invited to visit piecemeal.io, where they can create an account using an email address. The Piecemeal support team is available to answer questions and help them learn how to use the platform efficiently. Free training sessions on how to use Piecemeal are also offered every month for users to do a deeper dive into getting results for their businesses.
