TORONTO — Kraft Heinz, TSN and RDS have announced the four finalists for the Kraft Heinz Project Play 2019 program.

The community projects are vying for a $250,000 grand prize for upgrades to local sports facilities.

The four finalists are Twin Elm Rugby Park in Nepean, Ont.; Lanigan Swimming Pool in Lanigan, Sask.; Lamont Sports Park in Saugeen Shores, Ont.; and The Larch Hills Nordic Society Trail Lighting Project in Salmon Arm, B.C.

“Places to play are truly at the centre of Canadian communities and this was clear in the thousands of stories we received from coast to coast,” says Matt Bruce, brand manager, Kraft Heinz Canada. “This is the 11th year of the program and it’s always amazing to see how communities come together to rally behind projects so close to their hearts.”

The winner will receive $250,000 while the other three finalists will each receive $25,000.

Voting will be open at kraftheinzprojectplay.com from October 18 to 20. The winner will be announced on October 21.
