MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Rational Canada has announced the appointment of its new president, Louis Audette.
Assuming the role from Björn Rowland, Audette will leave his current position of regional sales director at Rational USA, effective January 1, 2010. In his new role as president of Rational’s Canadian subsidiary, he will be responsible for day-to-day operations, mentoring and collaborating with regional sales managers and promoting Rational’s SelfCooking Center technology to build sales. Audette will report to Rowland, who is Rational’s vice-president of North America. “Louis Audette has been a great asset to Rational for the past seven years and we look forward to his upcoming contribution to the continued growth of the Canadian subsidiary,” said Rowland.
Audette has been with Rational for more than seven years, with stints in Germany and the U.S. In 2005, he joined Rational USA as a regional sales manager and was later promoted to regional sales director. Audette has also worked for a catering company in Germany and Michelin-rated restaurants in France and Switzerland.
