ROLLING MEADOWS, IL.—Anyone deciding to work with Rational will get the only cooking appliance in the world that provides unique quality and performance. The market leader is also at the forefront when it comes to service. In late March, Rational hosted its Service Partner Symposium, which enabled great minds in service to come together for the purpose of developing a higher level of understanding, improve efficiencies, and maximize customer benefits.

Rational remains at its customers’ side long after the purchase and it wants to support them with improving their day-to-day routines in the kitchen: whether this is saving resources or getting even more from the appliances themselves. With its ServicePlus package, Rational wants to reinforce this approach.

At the event, 36 service partner companies were able to experience Rational’s new Culinary Experience Center and Training Center. “Important issues, like maximizing service support for different market segments, the Rational Certified Installation Program, and the implementation of Rational’s Customer Care Center, built the basis of discussion and generated the ultimate goal between all companies present at this event: customer satisfaction in every respect,” states Gene Doerr, Service Director for Rational USA.

One of the highlights of the symposium was recognizing the top three Rational Service Partners for 2013. These awards were presented to the three service partners who continuously demonstrated that they understood the importance of training their service team, maintaining appropriate spare parts inventory, and developing efficiencies that were acutely focused on maximizing customer benefits. Rational would like to recognize the following award winners: Commercial Appliance Service, Inc. (1st place), Pine Tree Food Equipment, Inc. (2nd place), and Whaley Foodservice, Inc. (3rd place). Rational would also like to thank all of its service partners who participated in the 2014 Rational Service Partner Symposium.
