OTTAWA — Toronto’s Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd., is preparing to open a Real Sports Bar & Grill in Ottawa in November, following the success of the original Toronto location.
“Creating the most authentic sports experience formed the foundation for our vision to reinvent the sports-bar experience, taking Real Sports to a whole new level,” said Carlos Bohen, director of Operations, Real Sports Bar & Grill.
“Our goal is to create an environment where fans can come and enjoy the game without sacrificing food quality. We are committed to having a menu that you won’st find at a typical sports bar.”
The new 419-seat location will feature a 25-foot HD television screen, 99 HD televisions, nearly 100 beers on tap and an upscale menu. The restaurant will have a VIP area with tabletop beer taps and two outdoor patios.
Real Sports Bar & Grill Ottawa will open at 90 George Street in the Byward Market. No word yet on an opening date.
