ORLANDO, Fla. — Red Lobster has unveiled a new menu, featuring more variety and price points below $15.

“We know guests are looking for value and greater choice and variety, and that’s exactly what this new menu will deliver,’’ said Salli Setta, EVP of Marketing, Red Lobster. “’We’re excited to give more guests more reasons to visit Red Lobster more often.’’

Sixty per cent of the new menu features dishes under $15, compared to 40 per cent on the previous menu. In term of the food, traditional favourites such as Wood-Grilled Lobster, Shrimp and Scallops and the Ultimate Feast remain, but the company has added seafood-free options such as Parmesan-Crusted Chicken Alfredo and a Roasted Vegetable Skewer; lighter options such as Bar Harbor Salad with Shrimp and Island Grilled Mahi Mahi and Shrimp; as well as new appetizers such as Sweet Chili Shrimp and Southwest Chicken Pizza.

Along with reinventing the menu, the company is undergoing a refresh, which includes its new “Sea Food Differently” advertising campaign, a restaurant remodel program, the introduction of wood-fire grills in the restaurants and the expansion of the Today’s Fresh Fish menu.
