TORONTO — Redberry Restaurants has named Scott Lewis as the vice-president of Operations for Redberry Burger King, effective immediately. The company’s unprecedented growth called for this new role to assist the 22 new Redberry-owned Burger King locations planned for this year, for a total of 146 Burger King restaurants.
Lewis has almost three decades of industry experience as QSR leader. He began his tenure as senior director of Operations at Yum!/Priszm Brands where he moved through various roles overseeing KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut in Western Canada as senior director of Operations. Then, Lewis joined White Spot Hospitality where he served as a brand leader before joining The WORKS Gourmet Burger Bistro as president and CEO. In 2016, he led the distribution centre operations at Fresh Starts Foods Canada as vice-president/general manager for the east. Most recently, Lewis served as vice-president of Operations for Flanagan Foodservice.
“Scott’s vast QSR experience and deep passion for our brands made him the obvious choice for this important new operations role,” says Chris Racine, COO Redberry Restaurants. “Scott embodies Redberry’s brand promise to provide a leadership team that showcases an unrivalled business acumen and works together to create an environment where our partners, brands and team members are able to achieve the best versions of themselves.”
