Redpath Sugar Recognized for 60 Years of Contributing to Toronto’s Community

TORONTO — Redpath Sugar is being recognized during Doors Open Toronto May 25 for its 60 years operating in and contributing to the city.

Doors Open Toronto is a celebration of the city’s most architecturally, historically, culturally and socially significant buildings across the city.

Redpath’s facilities are one of the last industrial establishments in the Toronto Harbour and supplies various sugar products to the foodservice industry, grocery stores and food manufacturers. 

A scroll will be presented to Phil Guglielmi, general manager of Redpath Sugar, by city councillor, Michael Thompson, recognizing the company’s longstanding presence and positive impact on the city’s community, economic development and food industry.
