REGINA, Sask. — The Local Market, a one-stop shop for Saskatchewan food and products, will open its doors in the fall giving residents of Regina a place to sample and buy local foods, according 980 CJME.

Local and Fresh has partnered with All-Rite Group Companies for the market which is to be located at 1377 Hamilton St., site of the former Weston Bakery.

“Think of enjoying an afternoon spent gathering beautiful food for your family and for your home — the difference being you know that your dollar is going to someone who made that right here, in your own community,” says Jennifer Rathwell, co-owner of Local and Fresh.

For three years, Local and Fresh have delivered fresh, locally grown food to the Regina area. With the opening of the market, Rathwell says people will be able to do so much more.
