Inspired by Jamaican home-style cooking, Chubby’s Jamaican Kitchen offers diners traditional Caribbean cuisine with healthy, modern twists.
Restaurateur Janet Zuccarini, along with Angela Lawrence, teamed-up with Jamaican-born chef de cuisine, Donavon Campbell to create a carefully crafted menu. Dinner patrons will find Pepper Shrimp made with garlic butter, scotch bonnet and house-made hard-dough bread points ($15); Ackee and Slaltfish Bites with sweet peppers, onions, tomatoes and fried dumplings ($9); curried goat with house-made curry spice, mango chutney and Jasmine rice ($17); and oxtail stew with braised butter beans, herbs, rice and peas ($18).
