Restaurant Buzz: Ufficio

There is no shortage of Italian restaurants in Toronto, however, this new addition manages to set itself apart with its focus on seafood and vegetarian fare. Ufficio has set up shop on Dundas West in the space that once housed The Grove. The restaurant offers guests their choice of pescaterian or vegetarian menus, created in consultation with chef Craig Harding from neighbouring restaurant, Campagnolo. Chef Jeff Lapointe’s kitchen creates dishes including cauliflower roasted with grapes, almonds and goat yogurt ($10); burrata served with beets, Balconville apple vinegar, juniper and pistachio ($11); porcini agnolotti with hedgehog chanterelles and Perigord truffles ($23) and grilled octopus with caponata and oregano ($24).
