Union Chicken unveiled its flagship diner inside Toronto’s Union Station.
Located in a high-traffic corridor of the station, the Union Station unit is the brand’s second location. The 89-seat restaurant is open seven days a week for lunch, dinner, drinks and weekend brunch, as well as take-out.
The space was designed by Toronto-based DesignAgency and features individual or communal tables, reclaimed factory lighting, maple table tops and an intricately designed wood-panel ceiling.
The menu, which focuses on sharable dishes starring organic free-range chicken, includes rotisserie chicken (quarter $8/$11, half $17, whole $29), Uncle Ray’s Lightning Chicken ($12 to $16), Crispy Brussels Sprouts ($9), Spit-Fired Sweet Potato ($7), Fried Chicken & Waffles ($16), and Sugar ‘Crack’ Pie ($6).
