A new micro-pizzeria is all about accommodating different dietary preferences — so much that restaurateur Lino Oliviera spent months perfecting his sauces and gluten-free crust (a secret recipe) to accommodate diners’ needs. Inside the newly redesigned space by local firms Allendale Construction and J Interior Design, four mini pizza ovens pump out hot pies every 90 to 120 seconds, so diners can grab-and-go, or sit at the six-seat bar and custom-made reclaimed wood tables. Signature pizzas include the Bacon & Eggs, a spin on the breakfast favourite, topped with back bacon, caciocavallo cheese, onion jam, two eggs and fire-roasted tomato sauce; and the Garden Fire, heaped with grilled Portobello mushrooms, zucchini, red and yellow peppers, artichokes, eggplant, fire-roasted tomato sauce and vegan cheese (both $11.95).
