Restaurants for Change Asks Canadians Out to Dinner

TORONTO — Community Food Centres Canada (CFCC) has released details for its second annual Restaurants for Change campaign.

The event will join more than 40 restaurants in cities across Canada to donate the total food sales from dinner service on October 21 to CFCC.

CFCC is a not-for-profit organization that believes access to healthy food can be a transformative force in low-income communities and strives to make good, healthy food accessible to all Canadians through a variety of programs.

Funds raised by the campaign will support local Community Food Centres and other partners to offer healthy food and empowering food programs. Last year’s campaign raised more than $120,000.
Participating restaurants in seven provinces have already been announced, but more are still being confirmed.

Interested diners can visit restaurantsforchange.ca for a full list of participating restaurants and to book reservations.
