TORONTO — With the popularity of vegan offerings continuing to grow at a fast clip, a Kensington Market juice bar is making the most of the trend.
The recently opened Sadie’s Juice Bar — a juice and treat accompaniment to Sadie’s Diner — is operated by eclectic restaurateur Al Ridley, who told Toronto Life that, prior to opening the bar, he worked as house painter, punk-rock promoter, and tattoo convention planner.
All of the juice bar’s offerings, including cupcakes and muffins are vegan and sourced from vegan bakery Sweets from the Earth. Diners can also indulge in vegan floats, smoothies, and $4 ice-cream cones.
