Saputo Announces New CFO

MONTREAL — Louis-Philippe Carrière, CFO and secretary of Saputo Inc., announced recently that he will retire from his position on Aug. 1, 2017 after 30 years with the company. Following his retirement, Carrière will serve as a senior advisor to the company. Until then, he will be working with his successor, Maxime Therrien, to ensure a smooth transition in roles.

Therrien is currently the executive VP of Finance and Administration at Saputo. He has been with the company since 1996, serving in both divisional and corporate management positions in finance and administration. In his new role, Therrien will report to Lino A. Saputo, Jr., CEO and vice-chairman of the board at Saputo.
