Savour Food and Wine Show Winners Announced

HALIFAX — Organizers of the second annual Savour Food and Wine Show, held in Cape Breton, N.S., May 17, announced the event’s Best of Show award winners.

Among this year’s winners are Lobster Pound whose lobster spring rolls and lobster wontons won the award for Best Hot Food; Trio whose fusion sushi rolls won the award for Best Cold Food; Black Spoon Bistro whose Mini Vanilla Bean Pavlova won the Best Dessert accolade; Muir Murray Winery whose Novapothic earned the Best Red Wine nod; Bishop’s Cellar whose Stump Jump Lightly Wooded Chardonnay nabbed the Best White/Sparkling Wine award; P.E.I. Distillery whose gin and tonic won the Best Drink award; and Trio who stole the prize for Best Booth Decor.

The Show was presented in a partnership with the Restaurant Association of Nova Scotia and the Destination Cape Breton Association.
