STRATFORD, Ont. — Foodies from across the country are looking forward to the Savour Stratford Perth County Culinary Festival set to take place Sept. 24 to 25, 2011.
The celebration of Stratford’s creative food culture will feature award-winning chefs and local artisan food producers, promising to be one of Ontario’s best food festivals.Highlights of the weekend include the best Canadian barbecue team, known as ‘Boss Hogs’ who will present “Ribs in the Square.”
Chuck Hughes, Canadian winner of America’s Iron Chef (2011) will also be on hand to meet fellow foodies as will Connie De Sousa, a Top Chef Canada finalist and Jennifer McLagan, author of the books Bones and Fat.
