Organizers of Sial, which appeals to a North American audience, recently joined forces with the Italian Trade Commission to give the forthcoming show some distinct Italian flavour. The event, which will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, from May 11-13, will feature an Italian pavilion.
“The Italian delegation is warmly welcomed as an honoured country,” said Xavier Poncin, director for Sial. “It will brighten up the tradeshow with the tastes and know-how of its regional accents.”
But, the Italian influence won’t end at the show, as The Italian Trade Commission will host “Italian Weeks” from May through to November to educate consumers about Italian product availability in Canada.
