RIMINI, Italy — The 46th edition of Sigep World – The World Expo for Foodservice Excellence, organized by Italian Exhibition Group, will be held at the Rimini Expo Centre in Rimini, Italy from Jan. 18 to 22, 2024. The reference to “World” for the first time underlines the global scope of the event recently supported by two new satellite trade shows in markets such as southern China and Singapore.

In addition to ice cream, which remains the core of the exhibition, top foodservice technologies and premium ingredients for the pastry, pizza, bread-making and coffee world will also be featured. Last year, the event attracted visitors from 160 countries who were eager to check out the 1,200 exhibiting brands from 35 countries. Sigep also hosted more than 500 buyers from 84 countries, generating more than 5,200 business meetings.

The 46th edition will maintain the five large supply chains. Gelato will be spotlighted with the most complete offering and participation of all producers, from technologies and ingredients to semi-finished products and equipment. Among the new entries is a large space dedicated to pizza. Italian Exhibition Group will also expand the exhibition area with two new pavilions, providing up to 140,000 sq. ft. of additional space. The opening session will focus on the most up-to-date foodservice trends, both national and international.
