MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — SIR Corp. has added a new social concept to its roster, with the opening of Scaddabush Italian Kitchen & Bar, located at Mississauga, Ont.’s Square One Shopping Centre.

“We’re focused on bringing something that is new and inventive, yet authentic, to the table,” said Steve Silvestro, executive chef. “We want to provide a dining experience where patrons feel welcome and as though they are part of the family. We encourage sharing dishes, trying samples and getting a feel for everything Scaddabush has to offer.”

Inside the 320-seat eatery, pasta is made in-house and mozzarella is made daily between 5 and 9 p.m. The restaurant offers a variety of salads, sandwiches, pizza, pasta and other dishes such as its meatball stuffed with focaccia crostini, cheese sauce, garlic chips, fresh basil and Sunday sauce ($11.58), or Arrabiata pasta topped with spicy tomato sauce, roasted mixed vegetables, mozzarella, poor man’s Parmesan and fresh penne (small, $9.77), as well as a signature Blood Orange Bellini cocktail ($7).

Customers are invited to take part in the restaurant’s Social Club, which doles out invites to the “Owners Table,” special pop-up parties and one-of-a-kind menu offerings.
