VANCOUVER — Gastown’s Secret Location restaurant is serving themed, six-course tasting menus commemorating unique eras in history. The series, called Food & Time, runs through March 1.
Executive chef Montgomery Lau is currently serving up Oysters Rockefeller, Chicago steak and four other dishes inspired by Prohibition America. Then, starting Feb. 3, guests can celebrate Chinese New Year with traditional Cantonese cuisine, followed by an ode to Greek Mythology for Valentine’s Day weekend. The Food & Time series ends with Italian-inspired slow food from Feb. 17 to March 1.
