WINNIPEG, Man. — SkipTheDishes has placed 5th on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 winners — which celebrates Canada’s fastest-growing technology, media and telecommunications companies — reporting 10,969.6 per cent revenue growth from 2013 through 2016.
“It’s great to prove that [SkipTheDishes] could be built in the Prairies, and, even at [SkipTheDishs’] large size, it continues to grow fast enough to top Deloitte’s list,” says SkipTheDishes co-founder Joshua Simair. “The award is terrific and the incredible story for our community is that several hundred people in Winnipeg and Saskatoon have gained fast-growth startup experience that will be invaluable for our futures in the prairies and Canada.”
In the five years since launching, SkipTheDishes has grown to have almost 800 employees in Winnipeg and Saskatoon, up from 270 employees last year.
SkipTheDishes now partners with more than 10,000 restaurants in more than 40 North-American cities, including Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver. This year alone, more than 4,000 restaurants joined the network.
