VANCOUVER — SMAK has opened its third location in downtown Vancouver, according to Vancouver is Awesome.
Owned and operated by Brendan and Amanda Ladner, SMAK positions itself as a response to the lack of healthy fast food in Vancouver and serves locally sourced, healthy food options made in house.
The new location has a small, five-seat interior and a 30-seat patio. It offers a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner items, including smoothies, various beverages, sandwiches, salads, vegetable and meat bowls and curries.
SMAK’s first location has been open for six years and was one of the first restaurants in Canada to be B-Corp certified. SMAK also received the Sustainability Award from the Downtown Vancouver Business Association last year.
