TORONTO — Smoke’s Poutinerie has made its way into Toronto’s trendy Annex neighbourhood.

The chain’s newest site, run by franchisees Randy Kitagawa and Simon Luo, opened June 6. “We have been excited since the very beginning of Smoke’s Poutinerie, which has grown so much since we first signed on,” said Kitagawa. “We have been looking forward to this for a long time, looking for the perfect location and are very happy that it is finally happening.”

True to the brand, the new location will serve up to 22 different kinds of poutine, including a Country Style Poutine with grilled chicken, double-smoked bacon, sautéed mushrooms and caramelized onions; a Nacho Grande Poutine with chili, salsa, sour cream, guacamole and jalapenos; and the Beef Peppercorn Poutine with shaved roast beef, sautéed mushrooms and peppercorn gravy.
