TORONTO — Smoke’s Poutinerie is continuing to grow with a new location slated for downtown Guelph, minutes from the University of Guelph.
The new store will be owned and operated by Aaron Shin, John Kim and Richard Kim, who are excited about the opportunity. “Our decision to open a Smoke’s Poutinerie franchise was based on our love of the Canadian culinary classic and the Smoke’s Poutinerie brand,” said Shin.“We consider Guelph to be an excellent market to share in the Smoke’s Poutinerie experience and are excited to be investing in this community.”
The Toronto-based franchise offers more than 22 varieties of poutine, a Quebec favourite that combines fries, gravy and cheese curds. The new unit, which is expected to open Aug. 29, joins a growing empire of some 20 locations.
