TORONTO — January 29 marks the first of an ultra-exclusive three-part-dinner series hosted by Sofia Restaurant & Bar.

Over the next three months, the restaurant — located in Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood — will be opening its wine cellar to offer guests a unique exploration of Italian food-and-drink flavours.

The dinner series will be hosted by chef Rob LeClair and sommelier Christina Brown and will take place on the last Wednesday of January, February and March.

The first instalment of the dinner series will draw inspiration for its flavours from the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy.

“We’ve created a five-course tasting menu that provides a true taste of the region’s rich gastronomy,” says LeClair. “The depth of flavours paired with varietals from Trebbiano and Sangiovese will make for an immersive and authentic dining experience we cannot wait to share with guests.”
