NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, Ont. — Southbrook Vineyards owners Bill and Marilyn Redelmeier will be plugging Bioflavia in an upcoming episode of CBC Dragons’ Den.

“In speaking with past participants who have been on the show, it’s clear The Dragons’ Den can be a real game-changer for stakeholders,” says Bill Redelmeier.

“We’re very hopeful the exposure of Bioflavia on such a high-profile show will bring new consumer awareness to such a unique health product.”

The Niagara-on-the-Lake winery owners will ask the Dragons to invest in their organic grape skin powder made from the dried and crushed skins of red grapes from organic vineyards. The powder is said to have high levels of antioxidants, which some buyers think could add nutritional value to their food products.

Robert Egli, Bioflavia’s director of Sales and Marketing, will also appear on the March 7 episode, which airs at 8 p.m.

Bioflavia, which is available in 300g canisters, is sold in more than 150 natural health and fine-food stores across Canada. A smaller 150g canister is expected to be introduced in the spring along with a Bioflavia grapeseed oil.
