CALGARY – Culinary celeb, author and renegade chef, Anthony Bourdain, is set to lecture at the Epcor Centre for the Performing Arts in Calgary on January 12, 2010.
The chef who wrote Kitchen Confidential, the bestselling no-holds-barred window into the world of restaurants and chefs, will be giving a lecture based on the book. According to a press release on the event, patrons can expect a talk that “will take you through the dos and don’sts of dining, eating and cooking professionally, plus…a real-world understanding of what it takes to survive in the cut-throat culture of fine-dining restaurants.”
A wine and cheese reception will follow, but if that’s not enough, foodies can purchase limited V.I.P. tickets to a Q&A with the celebrated star. Tickets for the event go on sale to the public November 2 at 10 a.m. for between $35 and $100. For more information, and to purchase tickets, click here.
