ST. JOHN’S, N.L. — Food writer Karl Wells has just made the search for a good restaurant in St. John’s a little easier with his recent round-up of the Top 10 eateries of 2009 in The Telegram.
This year a couple of winning restaurant re-locations and ethnic influenced mainstays made the list, along with good culinary exposure for the city with the Gold Medal Plates Olympic Gala dinner hosted in St. John’s featuring eight local chefs.
Standout restaurants in 2009 included: Basho, a Japanese Fusion restaurant and lounge; the European-inspired Duck on Water and seafood and land-lovers favourite Aqua Kitchen | Bar.
