VANCOUVER — St. Lawrence, Vancouver’s award-winning restaurant, is eliminating its à la carte and take-home services and introducing table d’hôte experiences — multi-course monthly menu concepts that will be open for advanced pre-paid reservations.
The fall line-up will showcase culinary regions of France, beginning with September’s recognition of Normandy. October will highlight the cross-border area of Alsace, embracing the German and Swiss influences on the culinary culture. Then, November will bring guests to Burgundy.
“We’ve done a lot of learning during the pandemic and have listened to what our guests want,” says J-C Poirier, chef and owner of St. Lawrence. “The constant re-invention of new menus each month is exciting for guests and it also allows us to experiment with fresh, seasonal ingredients and develop menus that take advantage of B.C.’s bountiful produce.”
St. Lawrence also re-introduced chef’s-counter seating, so guests can sit in front of the open kitchen to watch chef J-C Proirier and his team.
Dinner tickets include complimentary pain au sarrasin and mignardise and a choice of starter, main and dessert, with optional add-ons for the table. Tickets to St. Lawrence’s September dinner experience are available starting today.
