SEATTLE — Starbucks executives shared highlights of the company’s past year as well as a new Tea partnership with Oprah Winfrey during its 2014 Annual Meeting of Shareholders yesterday.

Howard Schultz, chairman, president and CEO, told the audience the company experienced a record performance in fiscal year 2013, generating $15 billion in revenue and a record profit of $2.5 billion. “We’re still in the early stages of the growth and development of Starbucks; we’re delivering record profits and revenue, sharing our success with our partners and heading towards a $100-billion market cap,” he told the crowd.

Oprah Winfrey joined Schultz on stage to announce a new tea product for Teavana — the Oprah Chai Tea, made with cinnamon, ginger and cloves with loose-leaf black tea and rooibos. Starting April 29, for every Oprah Chai tea sold, Starbucks will make a donation to the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation.
