TORONTO — Starbucks has announced the first three Canadian locations to offer a menu of savoury sharable plates as well as Canadian and international wine, Canadian craft beer and cider.

The new Starbucks Evenings menu, which starts April 5, will be available at 3079 Bloor St. W., 446 Spadina Rd. and 1740 Avenue Rd. in Toronto. Starting at 2 p.m. each day, these locations will also offer the company’s exclusive limited-quantity Starbucks Reserve coffees.

“Starbucks Evenings is focused on creating a new afternoon and evening occasion where customers can gather with friends or family or find a quiet spot by themselves to enjoy a sophisticated and welcoming environment,” says Rossann Williams, president, Starbucks Canada.

The menu will include sharable plate options such as artichoke and goat cheese flatbread; meatballs with tomato-basil sauce; spinach artichoke dip with pita chips; parmesan-crusted chicken skewers; bacon-wrapped dates with balsamic glaze; truffle mac and cheese; chicken sausage and mushroom flatbread; and truffle popcorn.

Wines from Italy, New Zealand, Argentina and California will be available, as well as three Canadian wines from the Niagara Peninsula — including a Riesling from Fielding Estate Winery, a Vintage Ink Chardonnay and a Red Blend from The Conspiracy.

Canadian craft beer and cider choices include Amsterdam Blonde Lager, Muskoka Winterweiss Seasonal Wheat Beer and Pommies Dry Cider.
