Starbucks Evenings Coming to Canada

TORONTO — Canadian Starbucks customers will soon be able to order a glass of wine or beer, along with a menu of sweet and savoury dishes.

It’s all part of Starbucks Evenings, which originally launched in Seatlle in 2010 and expanded to 30 locations across the U.S. Specific stores participating in the Canadian launch have yet to be confirmed.

Menus vary at participating U.S. locations, but they have included Prosecco, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon, among other varietals. The menu also includes a selection of small plates such as chicken skewers, flatbreads, grilled vegetables and truffle popcorn.

Seattle-based Starbucks is also preparing to launch La Boulange — a new line of nine French-inspired pastries — in Canada this March.
