Starbucks Moves to To-Go Service in Ottawa and Quebec

TORONTO — Starbucks Canada has temporarily modified its operations in all its company-operated stores in Quebec and Ottawa to a grab-and-go model.

This move is intended to keep employees, customers and communities safe following the Quebec government’s mandate that restaurants move to grab-and-go service in three districts in the province as COVID-19 cases continue to rise.

Customers in Quebec and Ottawa will still be able to walk into stores and order at the counter and at drive-thrus, however all seating will be temporarily paused or removed, including patio and outdoor areas.

Last month, Starbucks announced it would require customers to use facial coverings in all company-operated stores in Canada.
