TORONTO — Toronto-based Station Cold Brew Coffee Co. has launched its black, unsweetened New-Orleans Style Nitro Cold Brew and new Mocha Nitro Cold Brew in 7-Eleven stores across Canada.

Products will begin shipping to more than 600 locations March 19, with full distribution expected to be completed by April 1.

Cold-brew coffee is the fastest-growing beverage category in North America. From 2015 to 2017, the category alone has grown 480 per cent, while the ready-to-drink-coffee segment as a whole has grown by double digits since 2011.

“We’re seeing a decisive consumer shift toward functional, better-for-you beverages, which has helped cold-brew coffee transition from a niche nutrition trend into a mainstream beverage,” says Mitchell Stern, co-founder & VP Sales & Marketing for Station Cold Brew. “We’re championing quality and convenience at an accessible price point and 7-Eleven represents the perfect partner to continue driving the category forward.”
