MILFORD, Conn. — Subway Restaurants is preparing to team with Lionsgate to become the exclusive restaurant “promotional destination” for the film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
As part of the promotion, Subway and Lionsgate will support Feeding America, a non-profit organization with more than 200 food banks nationwide.
“Beyond providing fans with unique film experiences, what makes this promotion truly special to the studio is our ability to work with Subway to support Feeding America and help provide to those in need,” said Paula Kupfer, VP of Promotions and Consumer Products for Lionsgate.
Subway restaurants across Canada and the U.S. will implement a specific promotional plan for in the store, on social media, online and broadcast, while also introducing a special product line with ties to the film. And, there will be chances for fans to win prizes and pose with favourite character cardboard cutouts in the store.
The film will be released Nov. 22.
