TORONTO — Subway has launched four new panini sandwiches on its core menu. The gourmet panini are served on fresh-baked ciabatta and will be available at participating locations across the country.
The new lineup features the Chipotle Steak & Cheese, Triple Cheese, Chicken Cordon Bleu and Italian B.M.T. Melt panini.
“The new Subway gourmet panini are a declaration of our commitment to the sandwich,” says Cristina Wells, Subway Canada senior Marketing director. “It’s an exciting time at Subway. We have a new look and feel coming to our restaurants, which customers will be able to see come to life through our first cross-country sampling tour to spread the word and through our updated packaging and uniforms in our sandwich shops.”
The panini will be sampled coast-to-coast aboard the Panini Express — a first-of-its-kind transparent food truck — which begins its cross-country tour next week in Toronto. The custom food truck is designed to provide Canadians a glimpse of the preparation and process involved with preparing the paninis.
