VANCOUVER — Superflux Beer Company has opened the Lounge at the recently opened Vancouver brewery.

The brewery first opened the doors to its retail store on August 15. The new Lounge will feature more than nine beers on tap and a curated menu of hot dogs and salads. While operating at reduced capacity, it will accommodate 35 to 40 guests, but can seat up to 65.

Located in the centre of the brewery, the Lounge features curved walls, and custom millwork by 21st Century Designs. The vision of co-founders Adam Henderson and Matt Kohlen was brought to life by Vancouver’s Simcic Uhrich Architects and Harmony Pacific Projects.

“We’re so happy with the final result of the lounge. We’ve been blown away by the support we’ve seen from our fans since opening the retail store in August,” says Henderson. “We are so excited to have the lounge available so people can grab a beer and have a hot dog and just enjoy the space.”

The in-house kitchen will be led by new resident chef Justin Lee, formerly of Crow Bar.
