TORONTO — Three years after Susur Lee was forced to shut down his New York City restaurant, Shang, he’s planning his big New York comeback with the opening of a restaurant at One World Trade Center in New York in 2015.
The Toronto chef will open his restaurant at the Chinese centre’s private luxury members-only club on the 66th floor of the building.
According CTV News, the menu will feature “re-imagined” authentic Chinese dishes presented in a modern and contemporary spirit, representing the eight main regions of China.
Lee also heads Toronto’s Bent (with his sons) and Lee’s as well as Singapore’s Chinois.
