TORONTO — Tahini’s, a Middle Eastern quick-service restaurant, has appointed Kaan Sayiner to Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

In this role, Sayiner will lead the company’s marketing, brand, guest experience, insights and analytics and sales, and oversee the company’s strategic planning. He’ll also lead go-to-market organization integration to maximize its growth potential. Previously, Sayiner was Board Chairman and president at Naan Kabob.

“On behalf of our Board of Directors and our 43 locations and counting, I’m very pleased to welcome Kaan to the Tahini’s family. As our company’s new Chief Commercial Officer, he’ll bring a fresh perspective, new ideas and expert knowledge to help drive our sales to new levels of success,” says Omar Hamam, founder and CEO at Tahini’s Restaurants. “His diverse experience is the perfect complement to our team’s existing expertise and capabilities. Together, we’re more strongly positioned than ever before to build upon our significant momentum in the market.”

“I’m genuinely thrilled to join Tahini’s. I was attracted to Omar’s vision and the company’s priority for innovation and growth,” says Sayiner. “The entire team’s commitment, and the tremendous work they have accomplished to date, developing a category leading social media presence and opening dozens of stores in short order, both impressed me and stirred excitement at the enormous potential for greater growth still. I look forward to collaborating with all of my new colleagues across the organization to maximize our company’s synergies, market opportunities and growth potential.”
